Confirmation

For all students who want to know more about how important their faith is. 

Confirmation class starts as a period of time for instruction designed to help baptized Christians recognize the mission of the Christian lifestyle and ends with a public affirmation by that person in front of a church congregation saying they would rather die with faith, then live life as a nonbeliever.
As “studying” to become a lifelong Christian, it is important to know the following: how to read the Bible, a summary of the Bible; Law and Gospel; what prayer is and how to pray; what is worship; the Sacraments of Baptism, Confession and Absolution, and the Lord’s Supper; and of course, how God calls each of us to various vocations, including, how we bear witness of Christ in the world and why we should do so.
Confirmation is offered throughout each school year on Sundays from 9:15 am - 10:15 am in a school classroom.
This year, we start September 13th and go to June 6th. 
There will be no Confirmation on the following dates:
        - November 29th due to Thanksgiving
        - December 20th and 27th due to Christmas Break
        - January 31st due to the Youth Quake
        - February 14th due to Superbowl Sub Fundraiser
        - March 21th due to Palm Sunday
        - March 28th due to Easter
        - April Youth Retreat at Camp Pioneer Date TBD
        - May 30th due to Memorial Day weekend
