Confirmation

For all students who want to know more about how important their faith is.

Confirmation class starts as a period of time for instruction designed to help baptized Christians recognize the mission of the Christian lifestyle and ends with a public affirmation by that person in front of a church congregation saying they would rather die with faith, then live life as a nonbeliever.
As “studying” to become a lifelong Christian, it is important to know the following: how to read the Bible, a summary of the Bible; Law and Gospel; what prayer is and how to pray; what is worship; the Sacraments of Baptism, Confession and Absolution, and the Lord’s Supper; and of course, how God calls each of us to various vocations, including, how we bear witness of Christ in the world and why we should do so.
Confirmation is offered throughout each school year on Sundays from 9:15 am - 10:15 am in a school classroom.
This year, we start September 7th and go to June 7th.
There will be no Confirmation on the following dates:
        - October 5th due to the Fall Youth Retreat
        - November 30th due to Thanksgiving
        - December 21st and 28th due to Christmas Break
        - January 25th due to the Youth Quake
        - March 29th due to Palm Sunday
